THE BEST SPANISH LEARNING VIDEO YET Sep 21, 2010
By Thomas Montaldo MD I HAVE TRIED NUMEROUS SPANISH EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL(BOOKS, MUSIC, VIDEOS) AND THIS IS THE BEST SERIES I HAVE FOUND FOR TEACHING SPANISH TO MY 2 YR OLD SON(MUZZY SEEMS GOOD BUT TOO EXPENSIVE FOR ME TO TRY). MY WIFE AND I DO NOT SPEAK SPANISH SO WE ARE ALL LEARNING. MY SON AMAZES MY FAMILY WITH THE WORDS HE KNOWS. I THINK THIS IS A GREAT HEAD START TO LEARNING A NEW LANGUAGE. THE VIDEO IS ENTERTAINING AND KEEPS HIS ATTENTION FOR THE ENTIRE VIDEO. HE ASKES FOR THE VIDEO BY NAME AND WATCHES THEM OVER AND OVER. WE TRY TO LIMIT TV TIME, BUT IF HE IS GOING TO WATCH 30 MIN A DAY HE MIGHT AS WELL BE LEARNING. WE HAVE 4 OF THE 6 VIDEOES IN THE SERIES AND WILL GET THE OTHER TWO WITH TIME.

Learn Spanish with your child and have fun too! Nov 27, 2007
By jackier After receiving another DVD in this series (Eating and Drinking) as a gift, I decided to buy Playtime because my two year old daughter loved watching Eating and Drinking so much. I don't speak Spanish myself, but I want my daughter to learn it and I heard it's best if kids are exposed to a language when they are young. I like the mix of real kids and cute animation and she seems fascinated by watching other kids at play. I try to use the words with her for extra practice. My daughter is already repeating some of the words from this DVD and I'm actually learning too!
