Love the Little Pim DVDs! Aug 24, 2010

This DVD holds my 6 month old and my attention. Even though she is too young to to talk, it encourages her to try and talk. Every now and then I hear her attempt a word or two. She is gaining an understanding of the languages. I can say spoon in spanish and she understands what I am talking about even though she cannot speak the word herself.

I don't speak Spanish myself, but I want my daughter (who is two) to learn it and I heard it's best if kids are exposed to a language when they are young. My sister in law gave me this Little Pim DVD and it is really fun to watch! My daughter is already repeating some the words like huevos and adios. I like the mix of real kids and cute animation and she seems fascinated by watching other kids at play. I try to use the words with her for extra practice. I am thinking of getting one of the other Little Pim DVDs (we have Eating and Drinking) too. Maybe my daughter will be teaching me Spanish one day!

My 17 month old enjoys watching he Little PIM spanish DVD. She gets captivated by the images and the video has made it easier for her to learn words. As a native spanish speaker I use these DVDs to teach my little one everyday words, that our family uses.
